2ND LIFE Rehoming & Delivery Policy
1. Purpose
This Annex defines the Household Setup Packages available through the 2ND LIFE Rehoming Hub.
This document forms part of the 2ND LIFE Rehoming & Delivery Policy and must be read together with:
Annex A – Household Items Price Guide
Annex C – Delivery Fee Schedule and Conditions
Household Setup Packages provide a ready-to-live furnishing solution designed to equip homes quickly using functional second-hand household items recovered through 2ND LIFE operations.
Packages may be purchased by:
- individuals
- community members
- organisations
- housing providers
- partner organisations participating in the Circular Partnership Program
2. Package Structure
Household Setup Packages are designed to furnish common residential layouts using functional second-hand household items recovered through 2ND LIFE operations.
Packages are currently structured for the following residential configurations:
- Studio / 1 Bedroom homes (Studio / 1BR)
- 2 Bedroom homes (2BR)
Each residential configuration is offered in three setup levels designed to accommodate different furnishing needs and levels of household completeness.
Setup levels progressively increase the number of included items and overall household functionality.
- Setup 1
Provides the minimum essential items required to furnish a home.
- Setup 2
Provides a more complete furnishing solution, typically including additional storage, living room and dining items.
- Setup 3
Provides the most complete furnishing configuration, including additional household items that improve comfort and functionality.
Each setup level builds upon the previous level. This means that Setup 3 includes all items from Setup 2 plus additional items, and Setup 2 includes all items from Setup 1 plus additional items.
Detailed package compositions for each residential configuration are listed in the tables below.
3. Inventory Source and Item Variability
All items supplied through Housing Packages originate from removal operations and warehouse recovery processes.
As a result, availability of specific brands, models, colours or designs may vary depending on warehouse inventory at the time of allocation.
Items included in packages may therefore differ in appearance from marketing examples while maintaining similar functionality and quality tier.
Where a specific item included in a package is unavailable at the time of allocation, 2ND LIFE may substitute a functionally comparable item.
4. Pricing Reference
Package values are derived from the individual item pricing structure defined in Annex A – Household Items Price Guide.
The values shown in this Annex represent the combined reference value of items included in each setup configuration.
Actual package pricing for organisations or partners may vary depending on applicable service agreements, partnership terms or CPP arrangements.
5. Package Customisation
Clients may request adjustments to package composition prior to stock allocation.
Items may be removed from a package, generating a same-order credit that may only be applied to additional items within the same order.
Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Additional items or upgrades may be purchased separately in accordance with Annex A – Household Items Price Guide.
