2ND LIFE was born in 2021 with a simple idea – removing and rehoming should work together, not separately.
What started as a small rubbish removal operation quickly became a circular economy company that gives usable items a second life, reduces landfill waste, and supports communities across Sydney.
Over the years, we built two specialised divisions:
The Removals Hub – fast, reliable and sustainable pickups.
The Rehoming Hub – Australia’s first dedicated warehouse for rescued furniture, supporting families, housing providers and charities.
Today, 2ND LIFE partners with 20+ organisations and supports hundreds of households every year.
Our mission: Remove and Rehome Smarter.

Australia faces growing environmental and social challenges.
Each year, millions of usable household items end up in landfill, while many families struggle to access affordable essential furniture. The gap between waste and community need continues to widen, highlighting the urgency for practical, circular and socially responsible solutions.
Our Mission
At 2ND LIFE, our mission is to transform unwanted goods into valuable resources through circular and sustainable practices. We reduce landfill waste by collecting, sorting and prioritising reuse through our Removals Hub, ensuring that what can be rehomed is never wasted. Through our Rehoming Hub, we restore and redistribute quality furniture to families, charities and housing providers across Sydney. Our goal is to create meaningful environmental and social impact by making circularity accessible, practical and community-focused.
Our Impact by the Numbers
Each pickup and rehomed item contributes to meaningful environmental and social impact across Sydney.
